im so happy whenever i see old building. i have great respect for old things just like how i respect older people. and im happy that they have stand the test of time. hope we could all restore some of the old building in our country well not all as we need modernization too. but those important one and part of our history.
Sally, yes there are few challenges faced staying in such building but people get used to it. If the building happens to be in a prime commericial area, all residents will have to get relocated based on the understanding they have with the owner, most of the times they get paid well.

Lots of atmosphere there, but I wonder how comfortable the buildings are to live in? Will the people be displaced when it is re-developed?
