The Door...

Sometimes, few creations catch your attention. This door of a famous restaurant called Saigon did the same to me while I was just passing by the same. Simple yet effective way of welcoming guests and representing hospitality..

That is a beautiful door, but I am wondering why the restaurant is called Saigon when the door is very much Thai in style. The Vietnamese do not perform the "wai" greeting (hands pressed together) like the Thai's and other South and SE Asians do. I would be interested to see the style of decor inside as the door is impressive
