Making a quick buck by selling the favorite breakfast items on the cart seems to be the key for this vendor near City Market. The items such as idli, vada and dosa are fast selling and help many shopkeepers to opens shops early as they don’t have to spend time at home for the breakfast and get longer coverage for their customers…

wow that is sooo philippines.. we do have foo carts too that serve breakfast or afternoon snacks.
Ha! We have those "Meal on a cart" here in Montego Bay, Jamaica, too :) In the mornings you'll see the Peanut porridge guy making his rounds with his cart and in the afternoon the soup & stew guy can be seen.
