Popular at all age levels, the Koshimbiri is a simple and quick mixture of raw vegetables like tomato, cucumber and onion mixed with buttermilk / curd / yogurt with salt to taste, an essential part of most of the Indian meal. This one served on banana leaf as part of a mid may meal....

When you need to negotiate narrow lanes and ensure construction materials reach the sites, the best way here was to use a Bullock-Carts, the modern carts now seen built with sleek steel frames and rubber tyre than the traditional wooden which are hard to pull on tar roads...evolution must say!!

The lord Ganesha, made on a coconut tree trunk and worshiped during the festive season outside a neighborhood home made out of turmeric and kumkum. it is believed that if you place Ganesha idol facing south the direction of 'yama' or death everyone in the house gets longer life and protects elderly family members from long illness and keeps everyone healthy....

The newspaper stalls keep multitasking when it comes to making most of their business time, at early moning the news papers sale, afternnoons stationary for business and late evening pooja items or decorative items in case of festive times th work day thus elongates from 12-14 hrs easily...

Unlike the yellowish brown flowering of the copper pods in March to May, the tree is seen loaded with pods, this tree is generally planted along gulmohurs on roadsides to provide shade and add yellow blooms to the shades of garden city!
