Sarees & Passion…

Perhaps what 'water is to fish, sarees are to indian women'…
The range and the variety offered is mind blowing, just been to one of the many ‘shopping spree’ visits along some visiting guest in the shops city has to offer…(don’t ask me which is which type, price etc pls)
The experience was great to see colors, trends & types, patterns etc, the interactions between sales person and 'buyers' sometimes tests my patience and tolerance as the selection process in the shop exceeds hours…

I never learned to haggle on prices, so I'm uncomfortable in those situations. But those textiles look lovely. I'll take the dark red one with the tiny line of dots, in the middle of the stack on the left. Thanks.

Gulp! There is a shop in Wellington that sells beautiful saree silks, but nice ones cost around $100 per meter, so your photos will have to do.
