Bandh...



The Statewide bandh called by pro-Kannada organisations on Wednesday demanding the implementation of the Mahajan Commission report on Belgaum and the border dispute was total in most parts of the State.

In Bangalore, the bandh was total and, barring a minor incident off Mysore Road in which a policeman was injured, was incident-free. Government offices reported thin attendance. Private companies, including those in the information technology sector, were closed and the city resembled Bangalore of the 70s when traffic snarls and pollution were unimaginable. Refer...

Why was all cable channels disrupted during the bandh? Or can the cable operators tell the consumers why there was no cable TV yesterday? Who asked them to blackout channels? Will the cable operators reduce my cable TV fees for next month?

Curly, they are the drums which contain the paint used to paint the roadsides...

Kumar > i agree, infact the cable operators run only kannada channels and removed all others, i have written to Hathway to explin the situation but they are yet to revert back on it.
