Flowers of Forest fire tree are a good source of morning dew drop collection, this maina seems to enjoy it along with some necter perhaps!! Winter is knocking on the doors the weather is pleasant along with a peaceful morning!!

Soap Bubbles...

Few days ago, while in lalbagh flower show I spotted this seller. These soap bubbles took me back to my childhood and reminded me of my friends that played with me together with such soap bubbles, only difference was that we used to roll a paper and use that as a straw to make bubbles...

Glass house..

The Glass house in lalbagh, after a short rain in the evening while the lights are turned on the wet structure looks divine... This is the pride of this garden and the city and is visited among top 5 places by tourists!!

Making most of the busy buyers in the market area this young seller carries all distractions for kids and hopes to make most of the opportunity while in weekend windowshoping hour!!

The blend of the society in this city is semi-urban, on one hand you have the fast moving IT crowd that resonates with malls, pubs and trendy cars, the other represents simple livign and related more towards agriculture, farming, traditional occupations like carpentry, enterrising / cottage industries, nurseries etc....

The calmess of this evening sky soon got into a heavy downpour y'day evening, most of the low laying areas got flooded almost like a cloud bust...

Old newspapers are sold by household to these vandors who collecthem and send back to paper industries to reprocess and save some trees. The roadside business is part of a large unorganized sector like many other cities in India, a serious contribution to protect the trees thus the environment.

The rain at times become a spoil sport when you are out on shopping and it catches you midway while you are unprepared! this mother and her son are taking shelter in a roadside shop waitign for rain to stop, the wait state can range between few minutes for showers to fadeway or for longer time pushing them to hop into a passing auto...

These colorful and trendy paper umbrellas, known as Chatra, is a symbol of respect are getting popular in the decorations for Ganesha festivities; these are installed above the idol as a form of symbolic protection in a belief that the gods must be covered, a gesture showing respect….

In my neighborhood I am surrounded by many forest fire trees and this is just like an indicator of changing season for me, this being the sixth bloom I see in the city reminds me of the time i spent around and the seasonal clock ticking the years away~

City demands the best of the best food varieties from other parts of the nation and the world, This restaurent is Kormangala called Tundey Kababi served the lakhnavi / Adadhi cuisine. The shami kakabs are seen being prepared and served by the chef....

Strolling in the park, thats how a saturday evening can be spend away from the crowd, the rains play hide n seek yet the atmosphere is so refeshingly peaceful that the canopies and the clouds make a good company!!

Fresh fruits i.e. apples, sweetlime (mosambi) and pomogranates being displayed on a roadside cart , I liked the pattern and the distinct colours for each fruit type...
