The unexpected rains in the evening took lot of Lalbagh visitors run for shelter after the rains the walks were wet yet pleasant!

Lalbagh lions, some artifacts hidden midst of the normal public areas, while shooting around sometime back my lense made me take a note of them, if you have been to lalbagh where do you find these? give it a try!!

Great cormorant takes a dip in the lalbagh lake. These are common aquetic bird found around lakes in the city and watchign them early mornign is quite a relaxation...

Lalbagh swamp has a local resident, among few exotic birds around, These are also called as Swamp hens and prefers wet areas with high rainfall, swamps, lake edges and damp pastures.

The ultra white heron is meditating on a big rock over Lalbagh lake, the lake bears lot of fish thus lot of aquatic birds around... early morning walkers in the park get this opportunity to see them in action.....

Winter Mornings....

Winter mornings are magical, for those who get off the bed and for those who don't! Those who manage to break the bed spell get rewarded to witness how sun plays with the trees and birds in the mist and enjoy their morning walk, here in Lalbagh it feels like heaven....

The Schools are making most of the Lalbagh flower show and have regular visits in the early morning hours, it's a fun-time for kids to watch beautiful flowers and enjoy time out off campus!!

Horticulture Department has put up the 20 feet high with 30 feet width replica of the famous Bahai temple of Delhi Lotus temple at the Glass House in the Lalbagh. About two lakh carnations, 75,000 roses, tuberoses and more than 10,000 ornamental leaves in varied colors are used for its beautification....

The Glass house in lalbagh, after a short rain in the evening while the lights are turned on the wet structure looks divine... This is the pride of this garden and the city and is visited among top 5 places by tourists!!

Strolling in the park, thats how a saturday evening can be spend away from the crowd, the rains play hide n seek yet the atmosphere is so refeshingly peaceful that the canopies and the clouds make a good company!!

Private spaces..

When there is a need to be engaged in private conversations, the big parks are the only choice to have a peaceful conversation, so wht when kids are aound and make little bit of noise this couple seem to enjoy their time together in a quite place on a stone under the tree...
