The blend of the society in this city is semi-urban, on one hand you have the fast moving IT crowd that resonates with malls, pubs and trendy cars, the other represents simple livign and related more towards agriculture, farming, traditional occupations like carpentry, enterrising / cottage industries, nurseries etc....

India is a fascinating country. We had a great time there. Met a lot friendly people. In Calicut, Kerala we spend seven weeks. And then we drove with the train to Delhi. And after three weeks there to Amritsar. Have not been to Bangalore.
Yes, and we saw this big differences from rich to poor.
