This remains serious & larger concern for the ‘Garden City’ in the wake of development more and more trees are chopped off taking the city green cover down, most of the residential layouts in the central part are old and have many old and fully grown trees on the lanes, the redevelopments of houses that transform them from residential to semi-commercial structures take off the trees to accommodate for parking or provide visibility to new constructions required for commercial use of the premise…most of this chopping is done on weekends to avoid authorities intervention!!

oh no, that's bad news. It can be quite hard to chop trees down in cities here in the UK, and ones which need to come down because they are dangerous have to be replaced with similar trees.
