So far this weekend I have had 5 irritating "cold call" phone calls - usually from the call centres of bangalore. I am glad some people are out enjoying themselves rather than having to phone me!
I think teenagers everywhere do the same things as you describe. It's part of growing up, find their own identity, experimenting with style, etc.
I'm so glad I'm not a teenager any more.
