Once upon a time ..there was a road called CMH road, the namma metro has done a retro and converted this road into a massive underground. The work of the station has eclipsed most of the road that seem to take away the shopping experience away from this road flurishing the nearby 100ft road...

The famous Kingfisher derby over last Sunday was a crowd puller to the city, the punters, bookies at the Bangalore Turf Club, with a total stake of Rs 1.25 crore and a winner’s cheque of 75 Rs lakh, the derby -- which is into its 22nd year -- is the second richest horse racing event in the country!!

A slight glimpse in a jewelry shop in a mall, this is a new trend that the malls are witnessing the new type of showrooms are getting popular inside the malls than the traditional markets, people who are window shopping are now slowly getting into serious and planned shopping from inside the malls for convenience of parking, ease of access and security for the goods they buy!!

A beautifully covered canopies off cubbon park the road between kanteerava stadium and cubbon park is a delight to travel, peaceful all covered with trees thus cooler in most of the season this is one of my favorites…

A much common sight, making most of opportunities this balloon seller sells few colorful new age balloons on M.G Road traffic signal...for the customer in the car gets hard time convincing his kids to differ the temptation!!

Sky..

looks like the rainy clouds are in truce with the sky and settled down with friendly windows of sunshine! the trees are anyway happy to get the best of both worlds!!

Kids love these dwarfs in lalbagh gardens; these are located near the HMT clock and are crowd pullers for all the kids visiting them. This one seems to be in a relaxing mood always!!

Quite unusual to spot this late flowering of cactus, this beautiful flower is a rare sight someone told me while I clicked it, the monsoon is here yet some of these are seen into late flowering …

Rural Family Events…

Just on the outskirts of the city I spotted this large clans of families using trucks to travel, such scenes are common when there is a wedding or family function and many people needs to travel the affordable option is goods transport trucks rather than buses, and could be owned by someone in the family…

Normalcy..

All buses, autos and crowds are back on roads, the city normalizes and so are the people. The mad rush on the roads is falling in the routine, feels as if a monster has awakened after a short a nap!!

Peaceful Roads...

The nationwide bandh gave breathers to the city orads, this underpass near windsor manor hotel typically witnesses thousands of vehicles at noon is barely seeing few, the bandh was called to protest the recent fuel price hike and was sucessful!

Stone work...

Aartisans working off the roadsides, use the locally available granite stone and carve the stones to idols, the regions surrounding the city are rich with these stone quaries and the people from neighbouring states come over to make a living via these artifacts sold at an affordable price..

Working Hands...

City has enourmous amount of darshinis, the fast food eateries that work from 6 am till late midnight, the real means of keeping the city running all round are these darshinis which provide fast, healthy, tasty and economical food options for the office goers, and these are the hands which make them sucessfull!! the invisible supporters of the city!!

Faith...

The red chilling hanging off the entrance of a shop, it is the belief of the few that these keep the evil spirits, thoughts away and help keep the harmony!! I likes the color oif these and specially the one with partial green in the tip...

Friends are forever!!

its the age, the pull tobe together, on the road, off the premise of collage or high schools the frindship is the mantra, these stack of cycles do represent the bind between the owners where ever they must be, but for sure together!!

Anyone who loves monsoon loves Charcol roasted corn, the magic of the monsoon and the latent heat of a roasted corn bite is a magical combo!! There are streetvendors who keep roadting them and serve you hot with a dash of lime and chilli power spinkled to keep up the spell!
