Post Metro the well-being of the area is seen restoring, the shop which moved out are not seen coming back but the residential market and the rentals have gone up due to proximity and convenience of metro....

The swanky CMH road station glittering in the lights, Friday evening is bit easy on the crowd and many office goes seen using it to avoid hitting the roads....life is easy!

Finally the city has a decent, clean, smooth and faster suburban public transport, the weekend evening rides are part of the joyrides friends and families are enjoying in the new Metro that covers stretch from MG Road to Byappanahalli in less than 15 minutes....

After a long wait the Bangalore city now has its own rapid transport, the namma metro is inaugurated and will now be a pride of the city.....

The CMH Road metro station is ready and adjoining areas get final clean up, the buzz is back and so are the expectations for cheaper public transport!

After 2-3 yrs of hardship the CMH road residents are breathing peace, the roads are repaired and trafic is smooth, th metro line promising to take them to MG Road in just 15 minutes all is well excpet few commecial shops which lost business and moved out from the area....

it's all ready and awaits final security clearance, the swanky CMH road metro station looks majestic, clean and well done. it might take about a month to start this service and the station will get it's due crowd for ever....

Namma Metro is set to open on Sept 15th, 2011, the long awaited derailed dates with this project will soon be a history, I suppose. All ears for tracks to roar....

The work in progress for readiness of ulsoor (Halasuru) namma metro station, the much awaited and much delayed metro project is trying to catch up with the anticipated promise to ease traffic situation...

Post metro construction the busy junction is normalising, the road is not two way and easing the traffic on Old Madras Road towards MG Road...

Wait State...

All eyes on Namma Metro to start, the underbellies of the overhead tracks are becoming familier and traffic underneath is adjusted to align itself by and between. All what is missing is the roar of the running couches.....!!

The inauguration of Metro on 4th April is delayed, the new dates not known yet, the MG road has transformed with this giant structure resting midway to become a landmark!!

Namma Metro!!

Just less than 10 days to start the Metro service the stations are struggling to get into shape. This is the Old Madras Road Station with the ROB shows good amount of progress but long way to be ready for passengers to start using it...

Metro Tales..

Soon the Metro will start running on these massive elevated tracks. The city has shown patience and accomodated this first ever kind project of suburban transport, the trials are underway and roads beneth are back in use....!!

Metro Trial Run…

The city is happy to witness the successful trial run of the Metro, a dream that has come to reality for the city, the first train begin its test run in the evening and covered the entire length if the first phase of Metro from Byapanhalli Terminus on Old Madras Road till MG Road!!

Tracks in the sky...

Come Early next year these silent tracks will start rumbling, the metro first phase testing was schduled to begin this month and city is eagre to see the train will start playing ...all eyes!!

Last Mile...

The shops on the roads where Metro work happened have done a lot sacrifice for the city. Dust, less or no customers, intruptions was a daily affair for last few years ...Though it's almost over yet customers have moved their choice of markets to other area and will take time to return...the shopkeepers do keep the hope!!

Changing Horizons...

The Metro Stations are getting ready as the last leg of the project. The roof work has commenced, it won't be long when the trials will begin as Coaches have already arrived in the terminus...

The Metro work is in its final lap, the stations are being built, the tracks are laid and the first train to arrive by end of this Month, all eyes and ears for Namma Metro!!
