The lalbagh lake is desperate for monsoon showers, being the sole provider for trees for water it delivered to the expectation but at a cost of losing few meters of water, and the rain will take its own time in few days/weeks though they will be friends again…

Fresh tomatoes arrive from local farms to the market; the earlier bamboo containers are now replaces with returnable heavy duty plastic ones to help stack the goods in transport without damaging. Check out the marking done by the trader / farm on the container..
The pond heron is walking on the lotus leaf in lalbagh lake, the bird is busy checking out for small fish to feed itself, the forthcoming monsoon though will have more food to offer…

The heap of oranges sold in HAL market, the sweet and ripe fruits are recived from neighbouring state and are well received as favorites...
The summer colors of Tabebuia are so beautiful, the entire tree is loaded with just flowers and lays a carpet on the street below, the house owners who preserved these roadside trees get to see this wonderful treat in the morning, noon and evening...walking around is great!!
Had an opportunity to get into Maiyas in Jaya Nagar, 4th Block to taste the Gujarathi thali, the venture is new thus provides good taste of gujarathi food in Bangalore yet need to catch up on the service bigtime, the spread is nice and the resourent is as usual flooded with people...

The carlton towers fire had a major impact on famous restuarents in the ground floor, my favorite Indijoe is closed in wanty of powercable replacements, most of the staff I know are spread around other locations and I had to drive across old madras road to RMZ Infinity to enjoy the buffet!!

This was an initiative I participated since last two years, to help the birds get some water in the scorching sun many people in densly populated urban areas of the city have started keeping bowls, glasses of water on their rooftops, galleries and even outside windows to help feed the birds, I have seen this was well received and my rooftop have many flying visitors chirping away ...wish to join the cause?
Summer brings flowering too, the tabebuias are blooming and so are honey bees, this huge honeycomb outside the glass window vouch for the same. despite a large rain tree besides honeybees have choosen to reside on this tall manmade structure is surprising....
