All, thanks again, keeps me going!! I will be off to Mumbai wondering the streets and enjoying vadapav, pav bhaji and dabeli's of the world....( list is endless!! two weeks vacation is never enough, I say!!)
@ Rajesh... A small correction. Its North KARNATAKA meals and not North KANARA meals.... North Karnataka is this Hubli, Dharwad n Bijapur side where Jowar is their staple food, hence Jowar roti. But Haveri, Sagara, Karwar n other places make up North Kanara... Though they do use Jowar, its not their staple food and this meal isn't their ethnic meal
