Passing by the old Ulsoor market, i spotted these colorful clay items mostly lamps and piggybanks. Though traditionally clay items are used at homes by many, the new colored ones keep attracting customers to give up on the plastics and reach out to clay again... perhaps long way to go 'green' again!!
Many villages around bangalore, just outskirts of 30-35kms still have traditional houses made of clay bricks, clay plastering and clay tiles for the roof....
