This tree standing in my neighborhood hosts two public phones of a nearby shop, though larger population owns a mobile phone few still dial into these for their need, the phones that hang all day long on the trees are taken indoor in the night.

But I guess this solution is still much cheaper than to buy a mobile phone if you don't use it very often.

This is so very interesting...I've never seen anything like it. I'm surprised that they aren't stolen during the day...but like you say, everyone uses cell phones so maybe no one wants them!
Very funny and unusual but practical I guess! I prefer my "blackberry" phone.
