Metro & MG Road…
It might now be that late that we can see the metro passing through famous M G Road, the work is in full swing on the MG Road promenade. Though these gigantic cement columns have replaced the beautiful trees the cost paid heavily then…

U said it. I miss the beautiful footpath on MG road. We had such memorable days over ther.
Will miss that green cover for ever. But as they say, change is the only constant.

This was the worst move made by the planners. They should have taken Metro over Cubbon Road and retained the MG Road charm, along with the promenade. The Cubbon Road Metros stop would also be conevnient to Commercial Street.
