A tempo full of veggies. Such scenes are common in the mornings as large caterers who cater the lunch / dinner at large IT establishments need such daily supply. The number of IT professionals working in Bangalore raise demand for daily breakfast/lunch in large quantities ( multiple of thousands). Holy month of Shravan gets me lot of invites from neighbors and friends for Satyanarayana puja and prasad. This ritual is generally performed before/on any major occasion like marriage, house warming ceremony etc. It can also be performed on any day for any reason. She is responsible for those kids, some of her own and some of her neighbors all day long. Both the parents go off work some on daily wages, some as house maids and the babysitting is done by ladies who can afford to be at home doing this noble work… The kids grow up with each other and tend to learn lessons of life on their own and with so much happenings around in the neighborhood … day passes so quickly, as life moves on!Posted by Unknown 3 comments

I took a moment to realize how challenging is this activity. This man was fixing the supports for a roof of underconstruction house, he was balancing in the same support that is being worked upon. Behind the scenes! The ‘Ratha’ (Temple Chariot) of some temple / religious procession is being decorated with flowers.
