Bangalore Daily Photo (BDP) is a voyage since March 2006 to witness what’s a common mans sight of this beautiful city everyday!
A sneak peak onto “The living in Bangalore… “
While few indulge in true Valentine colurs, this display continues to lure them for the traditional sarees with new colurs and patterns. Commercial street was flooded with window shoppers with their valentines and/or families another good reason to wonder around the markets...
Beautiful! Boy do I wish the fabrics of India were used more in the fashions of the everyday clothing in the U.S. Our fabrics are very comfortable (often 100 percent cotton) but so utilitarian and boring. In my dreams I would wear a saree or salwar kameez every day! For a while Indian shirts were all the rage and since I already had about 10 of them I wore them happily knowing I was "in style." Now they've gone out of style but I plan to keep wearing them anyway. Beautiful fabrics.
