Misty Fog….

December brings brand new clothing to the city, with it’s cold collection spread of mist in early morning till noon. Vehicles on road just like to get disappeared into it one after other enjoying the same. Temperatures dive down the mercury levels to touch 15 degrees Celsius and are predicted to go much below this season….

Directions, Anyone!!.

Visitors and newcomers find this amazing unlike other major cities, Bangalore has a grid concept of Mains and Crosses, one has to really understand them to successfully navigate within residential layouts. Each Layout would have major roads called 'Main's' which are connected by many perpendicular cross roads... here is one road sign for 1st cross being reinstalled at a junction.

Bengalooru Habba is back with its repertoire of cultural events that include Carnatic music, folk dances, Yakshagana to fashion shows...

This fifth edition of Bengalooru Habba, which started on Nov 30th will be 10 day long celebration in the city…we catch up events at Chitrakala Parishat over the weekend and enjoyed the artifacts of 200-odd artisans from 21 Indian states and watched live performances.....

As the city cools down it turns purple, among the few most beautiful trees of Bangalore is this Purple Trumpet, or ‘Tabebuia impetiginosa’ from Tabebuia family. Tree loses all the leaves just before the winter and spellbound viewers with this spectacular bloom…
