The wholesale markets open before dawn and people rush to buy week full of veggies and rush back home for breakfast, the markets flood with fresh vegetables and few vendors use parking lots as make shift sale area...bargains remain the best for buyers!

Monsoon brings the wild winds, it takes tolls on already depleting tree resources, the coconut trees seems to have already adapted to heavy winds and are indifferent other than few bends to show respect ....
City does not have a seashore but enjoys best of both worlds,fish from both east and west coast states (like Tamilnadu or kerala) gets into the city for the sea fish fans, these mackerels have traveled from east coast (Chennai, TN) to my home via the street vendor...

While walking aroud the market this display got my attenion, the artisian used leftover textile and created beutiful butterflies out of it with few paper additions, it took me back to my childhood when in the fields we used to chase them and admire the natures creation ....my flying dreams as I used to call them then!!

Weekend stroll in the mall catching up with friends to catch up with the trends, the choice is never a simple decision when it comes to variety of options and pressure to remain well within the trends....
City is enjoying 'Imprints', a photography exhibition showcasing nature and wildlife by Sarthak Singhal and Vishakha Vaidya. They showcased approximately 50 Limited Edition frames printed on Archival canvas and each frame was captivating!! The exhibition hosted in Chitrakala Parishat is open till 5th July 2011......
