Having just undergone surgery on Thursday for a basal cell skin cancer on the bridge of my nose, I'll continue slathering on that high SPF sunscreen and sunglasses are a must. I'm not even a sunbather so I was suprised to find I'd developed a cancer!

Thank you, dear Rajesh, for the good wishes. While my right eye has been almost swollen shut and I'm sporting a black ( well, purple, eye ), I haven't really been in pain. I returned to UCSF on Thursday. I think the stitches will come out then. The only complaint I have is that the surgical site itches like crazy!
