Onion Cry!!
The soaring prices of onions in the market are making consumers cry, the heavy rains in the parts of the onion growing regions have spoiled the crop and the retail market rates are touching the sky wherein prime minister had to intervene and stop the export mitigating local needs...

I was reading about this in HT the other day and thinking about it when I saw the Vegetables post.
Onions are one of those lovely things we take for granted, sometimes.
While this is a terrible situation, it sort of forces us to take stock and be thankful for what we have when they're plentiful again.
