There you go, just y'day the mercury was touching 34deg Celcius and in the evening it was windy and rained so much that the visibility on the road was a rel challenge to drive through..

The rains continue to play hide n seek with the city, one week of heavy downpour made everyone believe it's here and just in another making the mercury touch earlier highs..

Every tourist in the city perhaps fall for them the essense sticks are sold in large numbers here to locals as well as visitors, playign host many times I come across new items on their wish list yet few remain the same, the sandalwood essence sticks are one among all!

Hot tea is anytime favorite, this vegatable vendor takes break from selling and enjoys hot tea served by another street vendor. The hardwork of being on road all day and make a living deserve such breaks for sure!!

Last weeks windy rain has played such a havoc that most of the holdings on the road are seen torn out, this hoarding on the BIAL airport road is completely stripped of its content, a natures way to saying no to ads perhaps!!

Outside the entrance of sree kantheerava stadium early morning sunday, the runners are entering the venue to participate in third Marathon of the city..

Biking fun is rest of laws, these three musketeers just having fun, to respect the law the riders wears the helmet but forgets the count...yippy!!

The rains bring people together, this family got out for a quick ride and cought into rains, the young one is being protected between the space, might be painting his first few rainy experiences..what a lovely moment!!

The late evening shot, the home appliance store in nearby market area, such shops are a blessing for the newcomers to the city as they step up their kitchens and need most of the kitchenware in a walk n shop arrangement nearby their place of residence...

The colors, texture and trends perhaps a dynamics of the fashions keep changing so much that what ever you buy today gets 'out of trend' just tomorrow...at times making us feel that they are as good as they can be only on stands..

Here is a yellow hibiscus bloom, the varieties of hibiscus I see in the city are just amazing, these are few similarities I guess the city shares with Hawaii islands which also has similar hibiscus galore to share...

Bargains...

The Roadside selling has its advantage, one can pick up most of their groceries, veggies etc while walking around the neighborhood and at an affordable price mutually agreed via bargains, the fun of which is different than buying anything from a supermarket with daily low pricing games...

The new titles keep coming to the forefront along side the oldies, this perhaps keeps the readership of print media growing non the less maintain them with varied choices...

The typical horizontal growth of the city unlike other Indian Metros who grow vertically makes it possible to have a good terrace for most of the independent houses, the terrace though typically used for household chores also becomes place to relax and unwind ...

Weekend drive around the city while checking out the todo list is a routine, the rains are still playing hide n seek but relatively cool than past few weeks, the roads as usual are busy as the city unwinds a weekend!!

The Paper Dosa,

Actually almost matching a size of a news paper and cometing it alike thickness, the paper dosa is a choice manny make to enjoy the crisp of the dosas, served with onion- potato veggie, sambatr and cucount chutney.

The Raw Mangos..

Going by the series of fruits, the raw or half ripe manogs are a completely different choice than the ripe mango, the tangy taste that shivers your buds is has a great pull on kids, the fresh fruit cut and served with salt and chilli powder is tempting...

Jack of all..

The jackfruit coming after the mention of summer fruits like mango and jamun earlier can't be mised for its sweet taste, the fruit is so famous that like banana the fruits is dried and deep fried into crispy chips to enjoy them all year round, I would still prefer the fresh cut fruit on the cart while wondering around and munching away...

Jamun, i.e. Nerale Hannu

Talking about fruits this season also paves way for Jamuns, a fruit that has high Vitamin A and C and tastes sweet, mildly sour and a astringent flavour. As kids we used to get amized as it colurs the tougue purple. This medicinal fruits is used in many ancient and alternative medical branches like ayurveda, unani for fighting and control of diabetes, on the other hand frutis is used to prepare wine and vinagar too...

Mango Season..

Soon most of the carts on the streets, pavements will wear mangos. The king of the fruit is such as favorite that even after the season people prefer frozen pulps, fruits drinks to enjoy the flavor...

ICE Gola..

its a simple technique of crushing ice into very small yet solids, make a gola ( small round ice ball) with a wooden stick ( made of bamboo) and server along with tangy colurful concereates that makes it a real magic... the hot noons is a perfect time to enjoy it slurping away!!

Late evening and late night raining is becoming a norm, the sky scapes are cool and clam, soon the monsoon will takeover fully and the sky will remain covered almost all season...

The progress of 'Namm Metro' on M G Road is promising, the busy road has accepted the change in the skyline and all are eager to see the new metro running over this heritage road transforming the city into the new era of mass transportation....

The sky is clear and days are warm, there is an occastional shower but the rains are playing around with the city, the skyline now has a new guest apprearance of namma metro tracks criss crossing most dense roads..

Perhaps a hard chiove for few and not for many, keeping with the trends can be a art or a skill, the ladies pose does symbolizes that roadside shopping or the mall shoping have definate rules, while keeping up with the trends...

Pani Puri buffet...

I bet there are very many tastebuddies who will swear-by with me about their love to panipuri, yet the biggest barrier remains the risk of contaminated water used on the roadside (wortha risk!!). this risk free panipuri buffet I enjoyed at Indijoe in RMZ infinity (OMR) giving me a treat of real street taste y'day!!
