Bellandur Lake…
On a weekend drive within the citylimits, we drove around the serene Bellandur Lake. While monsoon clouds still covering the city sky, this drive was dry yet on muddy roads. Most of the city lakes are shrinking due to land filling for constructions this lake too is facing this challenge…

It is a great view of the lake for all of those apartment people. Always nice to be near water.
Such a beautiful spot. It would be a shame to lose it to progress - I guess that is always the case when housing is needed.
Backward steps are not progress. Places like this are precoius resources and should be protected, not exploited because they can't fight back. Local people should fight for them!!
