Many households prefer fresh flowers mallige (garlands) be delivered at their doorstep everyday. These flowers are used for pooja (a form of worship) or for ladies of the house wearing it..
No this is neither a Photoshop effect nor sky from mars, it continued to rain since early evening y'day and while sunset the ambient light just spread it's orange tinge all over the city. Indeed a rare and wonderful sight!!
Telecom companies have expanded rapidly over last few years and increased urban tele-density phenomenally along the affordability aspects, this picture perhaps gets bit symbolic as the consumer king is greeted ( lured) with tempting offers made by the Telco’s…
It rained ‘cats n dogs’ y’day evening, the downpour cleansed roads from dust and traffic!! yes, many vehicles were off roads, specially the bikers as the visibility dropped considerably in some area's. The cloudy sky did give adequate warning to office goers to carry umbrellas and jackets but many were caught by then!!
Sunday morning we enjoyed walking and wondering around the park watching birds, plants and few enthusiast early risers running by… 
Surprisingly enough got few friends and colleagues calling on us unexpectedly late morning, and made our day with joyful colors of holi we though would miss this season… it took quite an effort to wash off the stains but was a great feeling to wear them from friends with great fervor and shouting “Bura Na Mano Holi Hai…!!” (Pardon Please, This is Holi!) 
Long weekend pulls lot of cars and crowd off busy city roads, people prefer going out of city or keeping them busy with festivities with friends at home. The empty roads seems like paradise for these two beauties walking on they never walked in peace basking in the sun otherwise!!
Quite a coincidence! It continued to rain today while people celebrate ‘Holi’ a festival of colors when people spend the day throwing colors and water at each other. Perhaps nature joins in to these celebrations as well….The weather is beautiful and the city is enjoying a long weekend!!
New Metro for the city is taking a big toll on the environment, Inevitable yet sensitive fact that in the name of development many old trees are getting sacrificed. 
Perhaps he knows it better, while he carves out names for living. A roadside nameplate maker in Gandhi nagar busy taking fresh order from a customer while on job, the varieties used from metal, wood to plastic with carious colors and fonts make his shop attractive enough. 
Early morning in the neighborhood, she perhaps likes to keep her vigil atop a road sign. There are many such neighborhood pets ‘owned’ by the neighborhood than a single family and are not strays…
Yepp, it rained y’day!! While the city was preparing for the summer heat, the natural thermostat worked and city witnessed heavy rains starting evening till almost all the night. The trees are cleansed and thus the roads, cool winds still breezing through, what a great time to walk on the flowers laid empty streets and enjoy the serenity of weather early Sunday morning!!
Colorful display of connectivity solutions, SP Road being the well known market for electronics and spares has many such specialized shops which deal with niche products and spares. I see some artistic angle to this technical colors synergized into the digital arena...

Catching up with summer beating the heat, the roadside shops gear up to display the coolers. though the city is still witnessing cool breeze most of the day these sign do remind about upcoming summertime...
While strolling through the Silk Mark Expo 08 for few hours, this bajji stall lured me for a quick byte... The hot varieties it offered with both the chillies were great, just that it was too oily and had to use some tissue to sqeeze out some!!

Passing by the defense area in the city, I watch her riding in an elegant posture which demonstrates great confidence. As she rides her bike into the defense area, this lady in the uniform and (tough shoes!) makes me proud and inculcates a feeling of safety….

The banana flower (Scientific Name: Musa) kept for sale in the local vegetable market, it is the flower of the banana tree. Once open, inside you can see small flowers that would eventually turn into bananas.

One essential thing for each household is cooking gas, no one likes to run out of the gas thus they await this delivery man to reach them over weekend ( mostly due to working professionals) and the man happily overworks on weekends to get good 'tips' to compensate his mobile bills...

Juice centers have mushroomed the city since long, the inclination of people ( mostly youth) to drink healthy alternatives are evident. Many prefer to relish it early morning with/after breakfast and try many flavors / varieties available, I like the Santra (Orange) or Mosambi (sweet lime), Watermelon to name the few…. 
Tabebuia Argentina i.e. Yellow Tabebuia, is in a wonderful blossom on most of the city streets now. Perhaps this is my third season to catch this wonderful yellow fever of Bangalore. This ‘Bolden Bell’ cherishes the city with its colorful vibes for the season….
