Major Worry! Garden city is transforming at the cost of many trees being cut for road expansion, new development projects (like Namma metro). This one on a narrow market road (Thippasandra) gave its life just last weekend not sure why?

Where are the tree huggers when you need them?!
What's amazing is that this tree survived so far even though it was totally paved over! It used to be easy to walk everywhere even during the summer as we always had the shady trees above us. Now, one thinks twice before venturing out in the afternoon during summer.
