Tandoor, as it is called is a grill used to bake Rotis / Indian bread on charcol. This is an integral part of each and every restaurant kitchen that serves north Indian Rotis on its menu. This one is perhaps taking rest outside a restaurant kitchen for a remake after it must have served long hours in the New Years Eve fulfilling many tummies...

interesting is that made out of an Oil barrel, we have tandoors in Pakistan made completely out of clay.
Yes this also is made up with clay from inside, the oil barrel makes it portable and helps in the maintainance.
