Obbattu or Holigea feast..

This traditional Karnataka meal is served to me on a banana leaf on occasion of satyanarayana pooja prasad, The meal is loaded with different sweets like Sevai Kheer, Sheera and the festive attraction is obbattu or holigea-flat, thin, wafer-like chappati filled with a mixture of jaggery, coconut and sugar and fried gently on a skillet and served with hot ghee …

That is sevai kheer, made with rice noodles and sweetened condensed milk...
