Making a difference...

On Saturday program on Reduce, Reuse and Recycle was conducted by Saahas, an NGO working on the solid waste management and a leading IT company. Here is adisplay of e-waste bin put up by the organization across few strategic locations in the city!!

I was privileged to join the cause and help create awareness about the three R’s ( Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) via exhibition and event at Forum on Saturday… Sahaas took this opportunity to deliver strong signals/messages to general public making them aware of the principles and practices of solid waste management with some great examples sucessfully working in Bangalore.

I'm really happy to see this. I'm not aware of anything like this in my town, but then my state is often lagging behind the trend setters. Perhaps it exists in California. Since we now produce and use discs like we used to use sheets of paper it only makes sense to have a plan for their reuse. Kudos to you!
