I happened to drop someone off to Kalsipalyam bus stand and was surprised to see number of destinations the private bus operators connect to this city on daily basis... the dependency and the crowd makes me believe that this transport option due to it's demand continues to thrive...

Life moves on as the fear caused by the blast subsides slowly, the commercial areas such as CMH road saw some amount of crowd compared to the peak, the Monday morning though was seen almost ‘back to the normal’ with the traffic jams and delays due to them...

Dark Clouds...

Perhaps not great a usual day for the city as the news comes from anther Indian city, Ahmadabad ( Gujarat) that the blast chain continues to take innocent lives. Many Bangaloreans preferred to stay indoors and continued to take calls / answer mails from friends and keens; the govt machinery continues to be alert.
I am confident that city will come to terms and catch on the routine early next week… the rain continued to cast the city with sympathetic tears with condolences to the three souls that lost their lives ….

Bangalore Blasts...

City witnessed eight small bombs exploded in quick succession across city of Bangalore on Friday noon in a span of 30 minutes, killing a woman and wounding at least 15 people. Heavy congestion was seen on roads as people started rushing to their homes from work. Telephone networks jammed as relatives from other parts of country started calling Bangaloreans to check whereabouts and safety of their keens...

Tracking Urban changes...

Venue, Gothe-Institut Bangalore @716, CMH Road witnessed an interaction with four participating artists ( photographers) who are part of the workshop that was conducted by German photographer Andrea Künzig and was designed to document the changes wrought by urbanization in Indian cities - through the lens of photographers from the South Asian region.
Three of the seven participating artists were from Bangalore and thus perhaps the event helped Bangaloreans connect better…

He and his pet seemed very close to each other, his obsession to pet a ‘tiger’ turned his pet with few brush strokes… though other street dogs kept barking on this unusual sight, his master said that the colors would fade in the next shower and he would get back all his 'barking' friends of the street…
