Artful Auto's.....Autorickshaw art!!

What is autorickshaw art?The autorickshaws have a canvas where the drivers get creative and put what they like most on it. here is what i could find out in one...

An autorickshaw is basically a small motorcycle with a back seat and a cover on top of it. They have three wheels (and are often refered to as three wheelers.) The characteristics of an auto ride is that it is bumpy, loud, and smelly, and depending on the mood of the driver and the traffic, it can be as scary as hell.

Forum Mall....

"The Forum" in Koramangala offers people not just a shopping experience, but several options from food to entertainment. Sources say it could well be on of the biggest malls in India with an area of around 650,000 lakh sq ft and parking of 300,000 sq ft where around 800 cars can be comfortably parked. Some of the biggest brands in the City are swearing by this upmarket mall. The ‘who’s who’ in the fashion, food and lifestyle retail business are talking about the virtues of sharing space at The Forum. Brands like West Side, Landmark, Reebok, Adidas, Cafe Day, Bose, Sangeetha, Lee, Wrangler, William Penn, Pepe Jeans, Archies have set up shop here while the rest are getting ready to do the same.
Bangaloreans are making a beeline to The Forum to get a feel of the ‘special’ shopping experience it promises. Situated next to Prestige Acropolis on Hosur Road in Koramangala, you just cannot miss its eye-catching facade.
The mall is split into four levels. Level 1: Apparel, luxury goods. Level 2: Women’s wear, casual wear, footwear. Level 3: Landmark, food courts. Level 4: The multiplex with seven normal and four deluxe screens, having a seating capacity of around 30 to 120 people. Besides, there is also the Central Atrium for exhibitions. In fact, one of the highlights of this mall is the unique parking facility. Something like a drive-in theatre, it allows a shopper to drive right into the mall, park his vehicle and walk just a few steps to enter the shop of his choice.

ISKON Temple....

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), also known as 'the Hare Krishna' was founded in 1966 by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. While some classified the sect as a new religious movement, its core philosophy is based on scriptures such as the Bhagavad-Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam, both of which date back thousands of years. The distinctive appearance of the movement and its culture come from the Gaudiya Vaishnavism tradition, which has had adherents in India ever since the late 1400s.
ISKCON was formed to spread the practice of '
Bhakti Yoga' (The Yoga of Devotion); wherein aspirant devotees (Bhaktas) dedicate their thoughts and actions towards pleasing the Supreme Lord, Krishna (seen as non-different to God). More >>

Bhel....

Indian street food, (a.k.a Chaat..)which is a way of life to a majority of us Indians, offers a rich tapestry of myriad flavors that are not only mouth watering but comparatively light on the pocket too..
Indian street food boasts of a number of snack based items or finger foods such as aloo tikki,
mirchi bajji, pakodas, wadas, while some are almost mini meals by themselves, like pav bhaji, dahi bhalla, dahi chaat and papdi chaat. Go to any busy street in a small town or a big city and you’re bound to find rows of street food hawkers cooking the food right before your eyes and selling delectable delicacies that are sure to fire your appetite, leaving you no choice but to want to bite into those hard-to-resist heavenly temptations.
Bhel is a perfect example of such hard-to-resist street food fare (appetizer) and makes a great mouth watering evening snack or salad. It’s a combination of flavors between crispy crushed peanuts, onions, tomatoes, raw mango, fresh coriander leaves, puffed rice and garnished with a tantalizing tamarind chutney and masalas.
